    Unhappy Guess What Happen?

Man i spun a rod in my honda right, so i fixed
about 3 weeks later so to day i go to crank the
car it ran pretty as it did before ansd then i
heard a small rattle, and while i was doing the
bearing i changed over to a 5 speed and i
pulled the distubtor out like 2weeks ago.

so my question is can my timing be off
by taking the distubtor off and chaning
    flywheels,or do i still have a knock?

some help will be greatly appreciated

    Thanks
    how fast can a 3gen go ?

there are no way you can put your flywheel wrong.
it maybe that you still have the knock. it is time for a new engine.

Is it pinging(timing) or knocking (rods/bearing)?

Well its hard to say what the problem is without hearing it and being there to check stuff, but I'd say that if it was running pretty like it used to and THEN you heard a rattle, as you said, then it probably has nothing to do with the timing. It could just be something loose. With the engine running and the hood open go listen for what area the rattle is coming from and see if you can't find something loose or maybe something is touching something it shouldn't be, things like that. And by the way, welcome to 3geez! What part of the Dallas area are you from? I'm in Lewisville! Maybe you can come to our next Dallas 3geez meet!

The rods may be "Knock Knock knocking on heavens door".J/K When you re-installed everything, did you replace back to spec? Torque specs, were they used? Open the hood and try pin-pointing the sound to the exact location and surely we can help you (freaking collective)

As for the title of your question, I could not help it in my mind. You said, "Guess what happen?". I say, "Someone set us up a bomb!"...sorry man, had to.
