    sprint springs for 3G

    Thought people may be interested.........

I was just doing some surfing around and bumped into a dealer on the internet that sells Sprint lowering springs for the 3G. It lowers 2.25"/2.5" and they want $123.24 + s/h. Thats a pretty decent price. I personally would suggest those springs to anyone thinking of getting springs/coilovers. My g/f dropped her 4g 3" and the car rides awesome.

They also have DC Sports headers for $300 which is the cheapest i've seen in a while.

yeah i was gonna get dc headers from that site but they never reply back to my emails. it says "please order through email". but what's the point if they don't even answer? hell yea it's cheap for a dc header, but if they don't reply. that won't do me much good. this site http://karnagemotorsports.com has the dc headers for $314. still a good price and they respond to your emails. just FYI. :super:

That's the best price I've seen for the sprints in a long time, that's for the heads up.

80 for the install isnt a rip off. however, its easy enough to do, that i would just do it myself... i installed struts/springs myself, and i dont know a damn thing about cars. other than changing oil. it was my first project with this car.

Yep I paid around that for my sprints. That's a good deal on the DC header, too...

Are they springs or coilovers? I wanna lower my car, but when the winter comes I will have to raise it back up. We get 20ft snow drifts in West NY.
"Mods to come," Pacesetter header, hi flo cat conver, strut bars, lowering springs.

they are springs. You'll probably want to get coilovers if you wanna be able to raise your car during the winter.

thats a pretty good price! i wonder if they were on sale or something. I just wish they'd make a lower spring for our cars then 2.25".

yup.. i've got Sprints on my other 3g...
i just like the drop cuz it's a 2.25in drop.. but the speings are still way too soft...
like you can still press down on the car and bounce it like stock springs..i like stiffer springs like h&rs
