looking at rims real soon like

I am int he prosess of purchasing pimp88accord ride. Its a monterey metallic green coupe down on sprint springs with kybs. I will hopefully be swapping those kybs out with konis if they they are available here in a month. Anyway I am chosing basicly 2 rimws. They are both available with 17x7.5 with 45mm offset. They areenkei rpm2 and enkei zr1. I like the rpms cause there like a smoked crome and only weigh 16.5 lbs.

If igoo with a 205/40-17 on a 45mm offset rim thats as low as the car, I believe the sprints have a drop of like 2.25-2.5, will I have any problems with rubbing or anything. He rolled the fender lips already so that should help. In past posts you have said the aceptable rims are from 40mm-45mm so I think this should work. Also with this could i go to a 215/40-17 just curious. I have this on the other accord and it will rub a little here and there in the rear even with rolled fender lips. They also have momo sports with an unknown offset. They came off a newer lude though.
Thanks for all the help Mike

BUT you still have a chance to get some if you get in on the backordering,....NOW! Koni will pull from existing european wherehouse's to fill U.S. backorders. Their are 10 complete front and rear sets in existance right now, the supply for the front units is much higher. So get yourself on the backorder list right now or forever be locked out.

As far as the rubbing you should be fine i have the same 17x 7.5 Racing Hart Wheels with a 45mm offset if i remember right but its between 40-45. I never had it rub even though im not on a 2.5 drop. But my rear sits a lot lower with all the weight in it and it has never rubbed and i have never rolled the lips either.

I have some 18"s I'll sell you... They are TSW Trophys with Toyo FZ4 Proxes, in 215/35. I have them on my Accord now and they don't rub at all, they are the largest size rims and tires that you can run. I know you want 17"s but these are a 5 spoke in Alloy with red center caps. I want $775 for them, for I need to sell them so i can get my 17"s, thats why I am selling them for that much. The rims are perfect with no curbs and no scratches. and the tires have between 85-98% tread, one has slight camber wear, but its nothing that will cause any problems. And the rims are a 45mm offset.

If your interested I live in Portland, and there are pictures of my car with them on in the pictures section under crwa's ride/car, I think its on page 3 or 4.
