drivers side fan turns on after i turn the key

Well my fan turns on if i put the car into almost on, or if i turn off the car after letting it run for 10 seconds. It always comes on after i remove the key. I know it should not do this, and is there anything i can do to fix this? I just bought a voltage reader, so i can test this stuff.

might be a fault in the control module....do a search, this has been talked about before

Could be the module, wiring, or fan temp switch "b". It's located on the thermostat housing, between the ECT sensor and the bleed screw (green plug). That's the switch that start's the timing sequence. Unplug that sensor and see if your fan starts when you turn the key off.

Well shit at least your fan works. I can't figure out how to get mine going.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
