    Is this the condensor?

In this pic of my car here, is this the condensor? I'm removing my A/C within the next few days and want to be sure! I've searched up old posts and read the how-to and everything seems clear but this. It's only really puzzling me becase my dads 3g with no A/C, even had this. From reading previous posts I've come to the conclusion that this is the condensor, its sitting in front of the rad. Is there any harm in removing it? I'm sure its specifically for the purpose of A/C but you never know. Thanks!

yeah, that is the condensor. I really don't think you will bother anything else by removing that...someone second me on that though...

well you will get more hp and torque, but you can run the risk of heat stroke in 105 degree weather.

If its that hot out I think I'll stay inside in my air conditioned HOUSE lol! So it won't really have an effect on any other part of the car if the condensor is gone? I'm guessing not but as jlaccord89lxi said I'd like a 2nd opinion on that too.

The only way the condenser affects the engine w/o air con. is by reducing the amount of air to the radiator, in turn, decreasing the engine's cooling capacity.

Thanks danronian! Anyways I removed all my A/c components yesterday. It weighed in at 45lbs. With more room in the engine bay and less weight I think it was worth my 4 hours of work! Thanks guys!
