    Parting out 89 Exi revisited

Sorry for the downtime guys....I was extremely buzy and didn't get a chance to start pulling the parts.

If I've lost sales, I'll understand.

Anyways, I had a battle royale yesterday and pulled the following from the car:

    Rear taillights (no cracks)
Rear centre tails (on trunk, attached to a black plastic piece - lights are fine, black plastic piece is cracked)
Rear 3rd brake light (slight damage from removal...nothing too visible)
    Trunk light (little plastic thing)
    Front seats
    Rear seats
    Door pannels
    Power mirrors
    Power mirror swtiches
Pedal assembly (pedals are a bit worn)
    Clutch cable
    Shift linkage
    Shifter and mounts
Shifter console (slight crack in boot)
HVAC control (multiple switches for fans etc - AC switch)
Front turn signals (TOP - neer headlights)
    Stereo
    Guage cluster
    Clock

I will contact those who expressed desire in the parts in the past.

If anyone wants anything else...let me know.

BTW....CarrotMan, you wanted a engine wire harness? How do I pull that?

Make me a reasonable offer on the distro.

Its in working condition...the engine runs fine.

88LXi68: Someone wanted to do a 5 speed conversion and would require those parts...I will inquire if he is still interested, if so, I'll give him priority...if not they are yours.

Mind you I would personally replace some of the bolts you wanted sicne thye are quite rusted.

crap!!!! i checked out your pics for a couple of things. one i needed was the piece between the rear pop out windows and the panel. basically its the entire piece behind the rear seats. the second thing was the silver hood trim, mainly the bottom part that connects with the eye lids. i saw by the pic that it is broken in the same place as mine. oh well, the car looks pretty good. why the sale?

Selling anythnig and everything in the car...its gooing to be scrapped.

I'll sell any part, but will give priority to people wanting multiple parts for the simple reason taht it will be simpler for me.

I'm selling the car cause the engine puffed white, clutch pressure plate is cooked, windsheild is cracked, suspension makes odd noises, cv boots need replacing and brakes didnt work properly

I allmost regret it cause it was such a nice car...but ah well.

yoshi: I've been told that front seats sell for about 50$ a pair....since I have slight damage....40$ is fine with me. I'll check shipping once I get a chance...what code?

I'll have to get back to you. I believe someone wanted it prior to you (wanted as part of a series of other parts).

NOTE TO ALL: I appolagise if there are delays in my getting back to you. I have allot of things to do this summer.
    - Parting out that car
    - Rebuilding a civic
    - Working 2 jobs
    - Trying to relax before starting uni

So if I dont get back to you quickly....dont hold it against me...I'm fully intent on parting the car out, cause its taking up space for no reason....I just run out of hours in a day.

I'll try and get some help to get the stuff out asap.

Well, there is only one harness in the enginebay. it's connected on the driver side (big yelowish plugs)

It's also connected in the fusebox.

YOu'll have to remove those , then you could even pull the engine out with the harness.

To take the harness out of the enginebay, unplug it from all 4 injectors, EGR valve, distributor, Temps sensor, tranny, alternator, O2 sensors, TPS sensor, IAV valve, cruise control....

    That's about it..

If it's too much work, I'll find another one, it's no biggie. Or, I might do a trip to Ottawa soon and just pull it out
