Would anyone here be interested in custom shift boots for their 3G? ...or any other car for that matter?
The options will be damn near limitless. Fabrics available would be high-grade vinyl, tweed, or anything else you might want it made in. (No leather available right now, but in the future it will be.)
It'll work like this:
If you want one, just tell me what type and color boot, with what color stitching, and if you'll be using the stock shift knob, or an aftermarket one.
I'm considering offering replacement e-brake boots as well, but it'll require the use of an aftermarket e-brake handle. But that's only if there is enough demand.
If you want one, I'm looking to get $25 shipped for them. (Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and other countries extra.) I have yet to run it by Marc, but I'll also donate $5 per boot to the board.
I'll post pics up this weekend of a tweed and vinyl version installed.
