Sweet I never had a thread directed towards me (and A20A1 !).

I got mine from www.jcw.com and A20A1 made his hoodscoop. I attached mine with really strong glue and 8 rivots. And I just cut the hole with a die grinder and filled the exposed under hood with expanda foam so it would give it some more support (b/c I cut through a support bar). Ask me any questions and I will help you out.

Thanks man, you too. Just some food for thought. I just got a JC Whitney mag. And they have WRX hoodscoops for sale for $69 I haven't checked their site for them. So if you need the part # let me know and I will look it up.

Yeah mines made out or aluminum. Make the shape you want out or cardboard or construction paper first as a test... also remeber to leave tabs when you cut the final shape from the aluminum cause some will be bent slightly inwards along the sides and the rear of the scoop to act as a lip for the rivets.... and some will be folded inward along the rim or opening of the scoop so you don't leave a sharp edge and it looks cleaner.

go find a kid named josias from mass. his screen name is like....88DXhatchback or some craplike that. go loko through accord pics to the latest NE/CT meet.

he has two convex [opposite of normal hoodscoops] that are in his hood. soooo sexual. so is his body kit.

    go
    look
