    broadway mirror?

One thing i've noticed is that nobody has (or just doesnt mention) that they have a broadway mirror. For those of you who dont know what they are, they are a WIDE mirror that clips on to your existing rear-view mirror. I have one thats a 320mm i believe. They KICK ass. It almost eliminates your blind spot and you can see soo much more behind/beside you. I'd suggest looking into getting one. They are a must have IMO.

The only problem is that you cant adjust them for night driving to eliminate bright lights in your eyes, but to me its not much of a problem.

    Am i alone?

I can see how it would be nice. In my car though, my windows aren't tinted and I like being sure of my surrounding, so I look over my shoulders and check everything. I know in my mom's 88, her windows are tinted, and it is especially hard to check-- so having the mirror for extra assurance might be nice.

here is the one i have:

i guess its only 300mm. Ive heard thats the largest you can get in the US, but in canada you can get bigger ones. They make 2 dff styles, flat and convex. The convex ones give you an even bigger viewspace.

I had one for about a day.

Its a good concept but it just makes everything look so damn far away.

Yah Its pretty Butt-Fugly, but if you do a lot of driving than its probably a good idea. They do get insane visibility.

I wouldn't get one unless they made it so you can have the dark flip like you can with the stock one. You know where like if the person behind you has really bright lights you can flip that lever and it will be a darker mirror.

I personally would be bothered by the sheer size of that thing!! It looks huge!! And I'd also want the flip-feature thingy...

I got mine from Kragen's for like 10 bucks and I love it. Oh, mine says "Type S" on the lower left corner of the mirror.

its not THAT big. It helps SOOO much. And to tell you the truth, the non-'shading' feature isnt really that big of a deal. It may seem like it, but once you get one and use it for a while, you'll never get rid of it.

I'm pretty suprised that so few people have them. Most import tuners i've seen/know got em.
