October was the last i heard *shrug*


I most likely wont be attending another meet until i get my "to do" list completed

-new tires (matt, did you ever find out how much dan wants for them, if hes not going to keep them for his new car that is)
-lower car (have the struts, need to order the drop springs)
-new exhaust (pacesetter header, misc. items from there back)
-new winshield

the new tires/winshield are first on my list (and i get paid tomorrow, so ill see where that goes) then springs, then exhaust, its going to take me at least 2 paychecks (1 paycheck for each to get the springs/exhaust) before its done. Im shooting for the end of this month at the earliest

i'm not sure about the tires. just to let you know, he got the damaged ones replaced, so there's 2 brand spankin new tires, and 2 tires with about 100miles on them. 3 rims are ok and the tires are inflated on them, and one rim was destroyed in the accident, so there's a loose tire. i'll ask him again how much he wants, and i'll make him give me a price.
the tires will come with the full discount tire road hazard warranty and mileage prorate deal.

where you thinkin about getting the springs from now? are they ever on eBay for cheap?

How 'bout sometime in September? I live in Thornton so I'm close to superaccord. Colorado Springs isn't tooo far away. September is the closest time I could attend. Lets just figure out when and where.

TY, ill probably have ya help me get the struts and such on. I'd like to have everything done Friday the 28th, day before the meet.

Also, i just noticed... i still need a Res, but that will have to wait until after i get paid thursday

So thursday i get to pay $150 car insurance, and $30 for a res, joy... more time bein broke lol

That's awesome. So now you'll FINALLY be able to put your suspension together. lol

you should definately mount the springs to the shock first, have the shocks charged (if they need it... i can't remember) and then just take out and install the complete parts. it's just 2 bolts if you do it that way, and you won't need a spring compressor.

so basically, i put the spring on the cup/lip of the strut, then use the body/weight of the car to compress it? Or did i mis-understand.

Yea, i techincally havent orderd the header yet, im going to MAKE them check their warehouse to make sure they have it READY to ship to me. No "we have to order it from the supplier" BS

Well everyone who can go is welcome to go, im still not sure on the location but i think the time is pretty much set. 3-4pm and on into the night somewhere in denver for some sweet night shots.

yeah some night shots would be sweet with the whole croud. I tried taking some night shots of Dan's car... didn't work out at all. I don't get it. I set the camera on night shot setting, and everything came out dark and blurry, not all nice and crisp like yours.... hrmm...

Bring your camera and we will mess with it, see if we can work something out. The thing with night shot settins is you need a tripod or something SOLID to put the camera on, since the shutter stays open longer if you flinch or move the smallest amount, everything gets blury. Take a look at some of my night shots that didnt come out right because i flinched. They are under-exposed and blury, looks like ass.
