redrocks road (the road that takes you up to the amplitheater) is friggin awesome driving! but the speed limit kind of kills it... 25 =( youre safe pushing 30-35 though, not many cops. Ive never really driven around the area to see if there are picnic areas and such.
Driving home tonight i had an idea of an old park in castle rock that i used to play in when i was... well, a wee one lol. Castle Rock sounds good to me thinking about it, i havent been there in a couple years and id like to see some of the old stuff again.
a wee park for a wee town.
castlewood canyon park? daniel's park? or some other one?
i'm pretty sure Daniel's Park has bbq grill pits. Not sure about the other.
oh, and i'll be able to make the saturday (working friday).

i KNOW for a fact ill have to work saturday, they always make me work weekends. So ill get a request put in for the weekend off.
Im not familar with all of the names of the parks, but i know where pretty much all of them in/around castle rock are.
daniels is on the west side, on the top of a bluff, or cliff or something.
it's where all the youngun's go to get in the back seat at night. lol
castlewood canyon is on the west side, about 2 or 3 miles out of town. the road to get in the park rides at the bottom of another cliff (40 feet, maybe).

i need to repaint my tails though, the sides are already starting to kind of fade =( ill put on more clearcoat next time i paint them.

yea, im praying my clutch will go out and be replaced by the time we have this meet... id like to do some racing (on the highway, to about 5 above the limit... just so you people know how i do things... no f&f style shit), but i cant launch for shit with an almost toasted clutch.

Anyway, back on subject lol... what time will we be meeting? I think we should meet a little earlier this time if we can, so we will have more time to kind of enjoy sitting around talking before the misquitos (Spelling?) start mingling. Who all will have to work saturday? and if you do, until when?

got some exhaust wrap today, and i'm gonna slap that on my prelude. it's black. none of that crappy off-white stuff for me.
hey, one of you guys might want to bring a tripod for the cameras so we can set it up and race. or just for better pics. I can bring one that's pretty decent if your cameras can take that standard screw holder thing in the bottom.
