haha.... it's not a SHO

it's an SE with the "sport" or "performance" package in it.....

so basically a step down from the SHO....

SHO= 235 hp
SE w/ sport package thingy = 200 hp

we'll have to see, Things haven't been looking up for jobs.... so i'm making no money and parents are having to pay for everything.

Naa.... I don't see how that'd exclude you at all... hehe. We hadsome prettycool non-3G cars at the last meet,and I'll prolly be bringing my GT-Four to the next one(if I get some decent weather to pound on it and a happy boosty thingy fairly soonish)... so I'm pretty sure it'd be universal... tag along!

HOPEFULLY the civic will be on the road by then.

I have to get a full VIN inspection.... so new tires and such, i just hope they don't care about the exhaust, intake, and that it's been lowered.

VIN inspection just makes sure that you didn't steal the VIN from a junkyard vehicle. they don't actual inspect the car, they just do a background check on a computer for the VIN that's on the car. no worries mate!

Are you sure? My stepdad came home with an entire list of things the car had to have. And it said the car had to have suffecient power....

If so, then i'm doing it asap... i don't want to have to wait to drive the car.

yeah, just bring it in with the engine warmed up, no prob. i've never seen an emissions test more in depth than stickin the sniffer in the pipe.
the vin inspection is just someone whackin away at a keyboard for about 30 seconds...

I'd rather not have them check out the car and everything, i think they'd be pissed about the aftermarket exhaust and intake.... so i dunno.

I've almost got it fixed, i've got the part I need on order, and i know i've got a check engine light.... took the dash apart today, and guess what, the kid unplugged the SRS light and the check engine light... damn little mofo.

but yeah, the SRS light is staying unplugged lol... then the check engine light is going to be taken care of.

oh, the only other thing they will check is the CEL. leave that unplugged for the test.

but yeah, you don't live in california, so don't worry about it. just get that "guaranteed to pass emissions" fuel additive from the parts store. you'll be fine.
