    Rearview mirror shake

My rearview mirror vibrates a lot. I was wondering if there is any way to tighten it. I have tried taking the plastic cover thing off but couldnt get it off. Any advice?

I would put some dynomat between the headliner and that bracket. I think it will alway shake but if it's making noise the dynomat should fix it.

It does cone off, you have to really pry it off. There is a little ring/washer in there that is used to secure the mirror if that screw that it's around came loose it can really rattle and make quite a racket. Hard to explain what it looks like without a picture.

Alright I popped it off. Hit me on the head, lol. The screws were really loose. Can't wait to see if it helped.

    Cool Vibrating Mirror

I think there is supposed to be a rubber spacer wedged between the arm of the mirror and the window, I have one on my car. Oddly enough I just noticed it today when I was cleaning the windows.

Yeah I have one, not that it does much. I would really suggest tightening those 3 screws
