    "engine mod chip" for 89lxi on ebay?

    i just saw this and im wondering whether it is bullshit or not, oviously if it was for 89 it would work on 88, (i do have an 89 however) but i cant belive that it is true, anyone have any insight on this

    hmm it might be for the 90 accord... even then I don't think it will gain as much as he says, without dyno resluts. Thats if the product is real in the first place.

    it is a resistor that will trick the airflow sensor to think there is a lot more air comming in, so ECU will dump more fuel.
    it is all BS.

    so that really dosent increase proformance, having a resistor? (I could get one and fuckin put it on my self!

    a friend of mine got that .... we just wanted to see what it was .... it looked like a paperclip........... there was noooooooo difference in power .... its bs ...dont waste your time

    yeah, i know all about resistors and what not (im studying to be and electrical engineer) do you guys know what kinda resistance i would need for it though (i just wanna try it i guess) (in ohms?)

    hmm, now where is this gonna go (there is a intake air sensor?)

    it is on the vacume side part of the throttly body look down it is sticking in on the side

    well... I don't know what there selling on e bay, but JET CHIPS told me that they don't make chips for my car and they don't think anyone else does either...

    However, they told me that they could modify the chip if I sent it to them... if you're serious about wanting a new chip, go to JET CHIPS
    87 hatch (stolen)

    88 lxi 4dr, 5spd, threw a rod... in process of swapping engine from my 87 hatch (police recovered what was left of the car).

    the fucker that sold me the 88 is lucky he lives 500 miles from me...

    im not planning on buying anything more than a $.50 resistor if anything, im just lookin for ways to mess with my car thats all!
