hey guys my auto tranny won't change gear when cold unless I put it right to the redline. when its warm its all good again. Its not the T.V cable, ive already checked that. what else could it be? help me please!!!!

Check the fluid level... how long has it been since you changed your fluid.
Anyways it's normal for the car to rev a little higher when cold becasue the fluid is thicker... (I'm not sure if thats the word to use)

Do the hondas have a vacuum advance on the auto trannys? I know that on trannys that have them when they go out it doesnt let the tranny shift or is sluggish shifting. Just another thought......

i have to agree with mike. your fluid level is too low or you need to change the trans oil.

fuild has to be low or burned, flush out the tranny and replace it with honda atf only.
