Okay now, Buy all the parts you can buy and then have the body shop do the rest. If that's possible.

yah good luck. You have another car to drive for now, so just take your time. Put all the parts on your self, and then get a shop to paint it for you.

    Good Luck!

sounds like a good deal, but it's still unfortunate that the car was wrecked to begin with. Just make sure the frame is straight.

It doesnt look like the impact was hard enough to bend the frame. I did more damage to mine and it didn't bend it.

How much are they going to make you pay to get it back?

It wont be too hard to fix it yourself. You might have to replace the core support and stuff. That might be hard to find since 90% of the hondas in wrecking yards have been in a front end collision. You might be able to get away with not replacing them. just make sure when you put on your new fenders that they have enough clearance with the door so the door won't wreck your new fenders.

I hit a deer in the same spot as Stizle and I bent the frame. BTW the damage looked MUCH worse than it does in Stizle's car. They almost totaled mine back then

I wouldn't do it... once a car is in an accident like that it is never quite the same. The panels on the car probably shifted and now the gaps between the panels is probably irregular. Just take the money and buy yourself another 3g in good shape. I think you would be better off!

I put entirely to much work and money into this one to just buy another. I couldnt do that to my baby. If you popped the hood you guys could see that the frame was pushed back into the radiator a slight bit (didnt damage it) and it is also pushed back onto the battery. I believe that it pinched the battery good to cause i have to jump start the car every few days.

Alos they told me that if i didnt want the car it would be theres and i would have to take the mods off the car and put back the stick stuff if i wanted to keep the mods that is. Which i would. I dont have some of the stock shit like speakers, radio, etc. Not to mention all of the interior work i did and the new paint job , i have to keep her.

New hood, fenders, bumper and by the looks of it the passenger side headlamp looks hit in right above the eyebrow garnish thing. The reflection looks straight on both sides. If the doors can open w/ no problems, then forget a body shop until you paint it. Find a friend, give them a 6-pack of their choice, and spend a day puting new sheetmetetal on it. I can do it by myself in 1 hour. I believe it will solve most of what you see. After you get the sheetmetal mounted, and more or less sitting right WITHOUT TWEAKING IT YOURSELF, drive it to a body shop with a frame stretcher, and ask them to check the squarness of the front, and adjust as necessary. They will pull the low end of the radiator support out, and probably bring the passenger corner out and down slightly. A very simple to do job.

You just saved yourself $2,000 and they shouldn't need the car for more than two days if they are halfway competent. The charge shouldn't be more than $300 for their time since they don't need to mount the sheetmetal, just do some minor alignment after pulling. Body work of this kind is about concealment, not replacement.

Simple and cheap. I did it and it worked. Now go away.
