Okay guys, as of a month ago, my car was a hesitating, choking, sputtering mess under the hood with a ghetto intake and oil leaking from the cam cover. I just closed the hood about 30 minutes ago to finish off tonight's work. In the past month I have
- Removed emissions and loads of usless engine bay clutter while managing to keep my A/C, Vacuum Secondary, and choke
- Pulled a carb from the junkyard, rebuilt, polished, and installed it on my 3g.
- Redesigned my civic intake adapter setup and adjusted the cone to be behind the right strut tower where the charcoal canister used to be.
I owe major thanks to the following.
Mike (a20a1) for diagrams, informative posts, and loads of advice.
Shepherd79 for helping me develop a neatly ran and effective vac line setup.
Accord EX for hosting and posting awsome how to's
Mindlos for showing me how to keep my A/C. Even when he was on vacation, he took time to post.
When I put the finishing tweaks on the carb and took her out for the test run, I realized what all of it was for. Thanks again guys!
