    Rebuilding...

    How hard is it to rebuild a bs motor (86 accord lx carbed)?

    800 my aunt fanny. you can do it yourself if you have some common sense and patience. If your going to do it yourself pick the engine. get a rebuild kit from honda and take your time. If you don't want to mess with all that then ya start shellin out that cash cause 800 seems about right.

    I'd rather have a professional do it rather than me (a moron) do it and have no trust in it working or not. I think its worth the extra few hundred bucks personally.

    With 800, you can get "real" new motor. Well, more new than an import engine.

    Take your $800 and go here and buy their short block(remanufactured) or the Longblock for $1700. Good company
