Power cut out to headunit/cd changer

I was driving home from work tonight while listening to a cd. Then the cd changer and headunit just lost power. I'm thinking "wtf, great, another thing to fix," then after a couple of minutes they come back on. Wierd. I''ve never done stereo work in my car, so I'm a newb at it. I thought it was a loose ground wire, but what do I know? Can anyone help? thanks.

Probably a loose wire back there. Pull it out and pull on each of the connections and make sure they're all tight.

Exactamundo. Most likely the ground if it is on the chassis.
