Sound before car??

I would personally prefer to invest in basic sound before investing in bling-bling or go-fast parts, and that's exactly what I've recently done. Don't get me wrong...I plan on upgrading all I can on this car in the future, but the silence had to be the first to go.

It all depends on the car and the owner.
If it's a beater then hell yea, sound comes first!!!!
If it's a decent daily driver then appearance and mechanical soundness comes first, but the factory system is never enough, some upgrade is required
If it's a racer/sports car with loud exhaust then you are wasting your time with hi-fi, loud and cheap is the way to go

I've gone through countless decks, amps, and speakers. I'm not going to put flowmasters on the Crown Vic so that I can enjoy the music better, even though I'd love to hear the V8 uncorked. The 3gee sounds A W E S O M E parked but the exhaust noise kills the fidelity
