    88 Celica All Trac FS

My cousin is selling his 88 Celica All Trac. For those of you who have never heard of a Celica All Trac, it is a rare version of the Toyota Celica. It is turbocharged and 4 wheel drive.

Here is what I know about his car: has a JDM motor (2nd gen 3S-GTE which pushes 225 horses) that's just been dropped in his car for less than 2 weeks, Supra turbo upgrade, brand new set of tires, 88k miles on the body, the exterior is white with blue interior, and he invested over $2,000 in the past few months in the car (I really don't know what he did exactly, but that's what he told me).

He is located here in Oroville, we're about an hour north of Sacramento. I will try and convince him to come to the meet this Saturday with his All Trac. If you are or know anyone who might be interested, PM me and I will give you his number. I believe he's asking for 5 grands for it.

Wouldn't we all be? Sadly enough, the ST-205 never made it to the US, only the 165 and 185, and it's already hard enough looking for a 185.

my friend has a 185 with a jdm engine. there was an imported 205 on ebay for sale not long ago, RHD and all. pretty bad ass car.

    st205>st185>st165

I personally think 5g is kind of on the high side for a 165, unless it is perfect. ive seen a few 3gens for around that price up here. good luck on the sale.....

I still think it's a steal considering the fact that it costed him a little over 2g alone for the turbo upgrade. Shortly after the turbo upgrade, his car overheated, resulting in the JDM engine swap. With the JDM engine and the new parts he replaced, he must've spent a little over 3g. The car was hardly driven as well. He bought it last September, drove for a week, the original turbo went out and he didn't get it fixed until mid April of this year. He tried finding an All Trac's turbo, but couldn't so he ended up getting the Supra's turbo. About two weeks after the turbo upgrade, his engine overheated and he just dropped the JDM motor in recently. It hasn't even been 2 weeks since he's got the car back. I think he's selling it cuz he's going back to school, lost one of his jobs, and he's currently paying for 3 cars (all Celicas) and can't afford to keep the All Trac.

I do agree that 5g for an ordinary ST-165 is a little high, but with the money he's already invested in the car, he's not gonna get anything back.
