    1st gen Teg lip project

again sorry for the quality, all i had was my picture phone, (which i need to get warranty replaced), but here they are, my teg lip project, it's crucial cuz it really does make a real difference to the front end, looks like some kinda body kit, final piece the front end work will be painting that chrome strip underneath the "H" black, cuz it stands out too much and makes the car crappy if u ask me, but here they are (i'll take more pics of it on my car later today) tell me what u think....

The lip looks nice but you do know that you can just take the crome molding off, under the "H", that way you don't have to paint it.........

yah looks good. I painted that whole chrome piece on the hood black. Looks better IMO. That inbolts from to hood too, so you don't have to tape anything off...

well i used nuts and bolts, cuz that's how the factory did it on the teg, i drilled new holes through the bumper and through the lips and used the nuts and bolts, ya, all i had to do was cut the ends off, is maybe like 1/10 of an inch shy of being a perfect bolt on, but it was so freakin simple to install the thing it was cool, hmm i'll try taking off the chrome thing (i hope it isn't too damaged underneath) oh yeah the reason why i took such a close up pic of my lips is cuz my front tire is flat on that side and i put on the steelie.........lol, thx for the comments

looks slick dude... but with the chrome.. dont try and rip it off... your better off sanding it a little, you dont have to sand the chrome clean off, haha, just a bit to let the paint grab on, clean it with just some anti-grease dish soap and then of course primer then paint.. but you should know this by now, lol

you dont have to sand it, but i do for some reason

lookin good! as far as the chrome on the hood, why don't you just go to the junkyard and get a non-chrome one from a DX or hatch? that would be better than ripping, sanding, painting, and all that other stuff...
