    Talking Installed the konis

Oh my god! the car handles just.....wonderfuly!! It's amaxing how the tokicos were pure shit compared to those...

I still get some bouncing but it's not a water bed bouncing, it's because the springs and strut combo is stiff enough to come back real quick in place...

    No more sea sickness

www.tirerack.com and they are $107 per strut so, it would be $428 + shipping.

HOOOOLLLLYYY SHIIIIT... Koni's and H&R's are sooooo nice!!! It's tight as...well...*ahem*... Just kickass! Me, bobafett, and 86accordlxi installed struts on 86's, and struts/springs on my car. Took us like 8 hours, but it was worth every wierd ass thing that happened to us!!! Alex (86) took some pics, and he said he'd host them soon!! What a happy day

I said the same thing when i put my Koni's and H&R's in over a year ago. I wasnt expecting such a big change and im glad i spent the extra money for them as well. The only negative thing i can say is i wish they were externally adjustable. I would like to see what its like on other settings but i dont feel like doing all that work. Glad to hear your happy Carot!

How many turns did you do on the rebound adjustment?
I didn't have bounce at one full turn, but if I did, I would have pulled the struts and dialed in another 1/2 turn.

And as far as how much better the Koni's perform vs tokico's,
    IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII told ya so :lol

I put tokico's in my car when we did cdscowboy's. It feels awesome (especially for the $90 i spent buying my struts from other members here). Bofafett rode around a little with me and was also impressed. Compared to his gc/koni setup in front and gc/tokico in the rear there's obviously a little difference in ride, but overall i'm very impressed. Of course, this is all in comparison to monroes sensa-crap that was in there. I know everyone bitches and moans about tokicos but I am happy with them.

I turned 1 turn in the rear and 1.25 in the front. It's real stiff. It's not bouncing like I first thought...

i can relate to all sides of this conversation, since i have konis AND tokicos! i like my ride though. even with ground controls, i cant complain. one of these days i will have rear konis on there too, and we'll see how much of an improvement it really is.
