    Recipe for rear strut bar a'la 3g

    Did the obligatory searching... no solid answers. So here goes: What strut bar parts will make a rear bar for a 3g? I know Justin made 'em, but he aint got no 3g anymore OPEN SOURCE IT JUSTIN!!!!!!!!!!!

    i thought i heard the 92/93 civic rear strut bars work just like the front ones do.........key word THOUGHT.......

    my g/f is getting front and rears pretty soon for her 4g and i'm gonna try them on my car and see what needs to be done to get them to fit on both ends.....i'll take pics if they work.

    i tried a 92-95 civic front bar on mine and it did not go on correctly

    yeah... what's up with that??

    alot of people on this board say that you can make the 92-00 civics strut bar fit on our 3g... I have one, the thing is about 2 inches too short to reach... however... the mounts fit well with a hole drilled, but if the bar doesn't reach, what the fuck good is it!?

    luckily... my sister work on airplanes and she has access to a machine shop... I will be having the thing cut in half and lengthened by 2 inches...
    87 hatch (stolen)

    88 lxi 4dr, 5spd, threw a rod... in process of swapping engine from my 87 hatch (police recovered what was left of the car).

    the fucker that sold me the 88 is lucky he lives 500 miles from me...

    dc sports makes a front strut bar its 160$ and it fits perfectly. and you can make one for the rear. just use the sam design for the mounting plate to the top of the strut, and use a threaded steal tube cut it to length and use ballberring adjustible ilots to fasten it together and wa la.....

    mine was adjustable... even after adjusting it to the maximum length, it was still 2 inches too short...

    anyone know anybody who has posted good pics of the 92-00 civic bar on a 3g???

    I remember seeing pictures of someones rear strut bar on here that was from a late eighties to early nineties VW Jetta. I remember they said it fit perfectly too.

    in october/november, im gonna weld an X brace in the back of the car... then ill have two pipes goin to the rear frame mounts... its gonna be stiff
