Spoiler install, need to adjust trunk springs or get stiffer ones???

I'm in the process of instaling an OEM wing on my Lx-i coupe, I'm affraid that the extra weight on the trunk lid will keep it from staying open with the stock springs. I looked and noticed that there are two positions for the stock springs, how do i (if needed) get the srings into the tighter location?

    thanks

    Chris

You have to change it to the notch behind the one it's currently sitting on to up the tortion.

    Hard to explain

I totally understand the concept but I'm having trouble moving the bar to the next notch.
