Wanted to Offer B20 to the 3Geez guys first!!

You know I did a b20 swap waaay before it was even known and I had fun with it and awsome swap. I came upon a few b20 motors and thought that I would offer it to the 3geez guys thinking that they would appreciate getting a clean b20 motor and actually having a place that can get b20's I had many offers and few were sold then I had others telling me they wanted to get a group guy going so I agreed and also agreed to drop the price quite a bit if they came through....now im not gonna mention names but a certain person who was supposed to pick up a b20 motor by getting a loan from his school etc wanted to know everything about it and assured me by the end of JUNE he would have the money and another to buy so I agreed to hook him up it is now August havent heard from that person at all??? is this what the site has become???
    because its a shame

the proof is in the writing go back to the original post for the b20's for sale and you can see that person

Well I'm going to save everybody the time, I'm the person, but I have a pretty good explaination. I Pmed b20aTurbo what happend and I will let everyone else know too. I was going to buy one and I still plan on it. I just got approved for a $4200 loan and my mom said she'd help pay for some of my tools. I'm talking with her about how much she is spending tonight. And I will know if I have enough to pay for it in full or if I can't I will put as much as I can afford for the deposit.

Here's why I couldn't buy the motor already. Everyone knows that I'm doing the strut bars right? Well I got everything together and paid this guy online for the materials and it just so happens I didn't hear from him and he screwed me over on the materials. I didn't want anyone to know about this b/c I felt it would be bad for business. Good news is I had enough money in my bank to pay for new materials for the bars (from someone else) and I'm waiting to get them materials in the mail. I know I talked forever about the motor but this set me back quite a bit of money. But don't worry buyers b/c you will still get your strut bars. And that is part of the reason it's taking longer than I thought.

    shit happens. deal with it.

if you put total trust in someobody on the internet who says they're gonna borrow money from their school to fund a motor swap, you should be hesitant to trust them anyway.

    *edit* no offense mike.......

Well I want to rebuild the motor for a school project since the first semeseter that's what we're doing. I know I gave him my word but I still plan on getting the motor, but I didn't expect sh!t to hit the fan and happen either. I'm not happy I'm not going to make anything on the strut bars. But I promised the people they'd get them and I will get the bars to them.

b20 --> Do you still have these motors? After these, will you still be able to get more at an affordable cost?

I ask b/c right now I'm by no means, in the position to be able to afford this motor, however, I am considering it for future plans on my 3G. Also, I'm in CT, so a trip to the city would be very simple for me so I could save mucho $$ on eliminating shipping costs.

PS> Just for future refference, what's the price range we're looking at for these motors w/ 5 spd tranny?

well I have to say that I am a very trustworthy individual. I bought a B20a and his turbo project earlier this year. I didnt see any pics of what it looks like but I did see pics of the turbo kit on ludespeed.com. Now that was $2800 I sent him without any pics and only a word from about 100 pms back and forth. Since, I have spent another $1000 and am sending him another $1600 for parts.

It sounds like a lot and it is, but these parts are top of the line and worth every penny. He is a man of his word and I will back up anything he has to say. Hes a very smart individual and I thank him alot for helping me source the parts Ive spent almost 3 years looking for.

Now Im not trying to start anything and Im not trying to say anything but I do believe in giving credit where its do and there you have it.

Wow it just clicked that Ive spent over 5000 on parts for a 3000 car. Either Im really dumb or well lets not go there. Mike

I want a price?? I'm not looking to buy one, but if in the future my engine desides to quit, I'll swap over a rebuild, and it would be nice to know how much it would cost me/
