Yet Another Newbie, but not a teen

Just picked up my 3rd 3g accord, first was an 87DX hatch (ex got that in a d-vorce), then an 89 Sei (god I miss that car) and just picked up an 88LXi sedan. Only paid 300 bucks for it. Upsides are it runs good and strong, shifts good, 4 new tires and the body is straight. Downers are the radiator looks like someone poured Nestle Quick in it, paints wayyyyy faded, powersteering an A/C are inop, interiors is ragged out (seats new re-done) and its missing the muffler. Well I guess the mufflers not missing, its in the trunk didn't think thats where they went. No big deal, if I can play aircraft avionics technician by day I can play Honda mechanic at night. Anyways love the site, y'all are doing a great job here.

Hmm flush the radiator... you might be mixing oil with the coolant.

Dayum, The Texan's my first Beech experience, before this the smallest planes I worked were 737's and MD-80's. Well acyually I worked a few shorts and Saab's and almost got on with Masaba Air in Memphis, so I'm kinda gettin used to planes you can throw

    Welcome Vinny,
Love the "but not a teen" remark, its about time. Just flush the radiator for awhile with some prestone flush, and...man you know what, I bet you still have the stock radiator, just replace it. The plastic on the top is bound to crack anyways.
