ok i'll sound pretty dumb asking this since it should be easy, but how do you take off the front grill on a 89 sedan? i wanna remove it so i can nightshade it. then i'll have black from corner to corner which will look nicebut i figured it'd be way easier to just take the grill off to do it than to try to newspaper around it, but after i took off the like 7 main screws holding it in it still didn't seem to want to come off. was there something i'm missing?

just wanted to bump my own thread, could someone tell me how to take the grill off? it'll look way nicer after i paint it but i can't figure out ho to get it off

If you open the hood and look where the grill is meeting with the hood on the inside, there are a bunch of 10mm bolts all the way across the grill holding it in.
