Well my speaker grills were missing the carpet and were rusted and FUGLY looking. I FINALLY got around to taking care of it. Some flat-black and about a 1/2 hour made a HEEEEE-HUGE difference.! Black on blue interior looks sharp!

I have maroon and beige colored interior. My front speaker grilles are beige b/c my didn't have any when I bought it and I haven't come across and maroon speaker grilles yet.
Yeah, when I upgraded my fronts to JL 3ways, The first thing I did was remove that ugly ass cloth screen, which after 15 years of wear and tear looked more grey than tan. However the metal screens looked in decent enough shape not to have to repaint them.
