I need help !!! for the PCV valve

I have a 89 accord ex-i coupe
i bought a PCV val.
and i have NO IDEA WHERE TO PUT IT
please help!!

uh... yah... my car doesn't have that whole tube that was circled on the page??? I hav a pcv valve that has been sitting here for the past 6 months, because I can't find it in my car... my repair book gives me 3 different places to find it, and it is not in any of them...


I've got the fuel injected model

see the big black tube connected to the intake manifold pull hard up on that and the pcv valve is on the end

ok... uhm, thnx, but... like I said, I do not have that tube on my car... there is nothing there...

I know that's where it is suppose to be, but my intake doesn't look the same, there is no big tube anywhere on the front of the intake manifold... theres just the tubes on the end, and I've checked them...

anybody have this problem???

On the 86 87 the PVC valve is in the middle of the intake manifold. You do have a big hose that goes into the intake. It is right behind the fuel rail and is within a 1/2" of another hose which is in the front of the fuel rail.
Whola that is only like the hundredth time I have answered this question.

ok... I talked to the local honda dealership... the guy said it is in some little box thing (forgot what he called it) underneath the intake manifold... I removed that and there it was...

the guy said that like 15% or so of the 87 fi hatchbacks had this configuration... and that is one of the places that my book mentions, but there were no pictures, and it was just a brief description of where it was so I couldn't figure out what it was talking about...

like I said... the book gave me three different locations to check out
