That would be similar to the setup I have now on my DX. Well, sorta similar. I have a pacesetter header, high flow cat, purple horny glasspack and 2.25in piping. I had the cat, p.h., and 2.25in put on before I had my header and I noticed that my car pulled a little more in the higher RPMs. (3.5K and above) If you have completely stock exhaust, the only difference you would probably notice is a difference in sound. Your stock exhaust manifold, cat, and smaller piping are fairly restrictive. Upgrading all that and you should feel a noticable power increase. If you really want a performance improvement, get a whole new exhaust setup, if your only looking for a sound difference for the time being, go ahead and throw on the glasspack. I am pleased with my car's sound. It is mild, but after 3k it opens up and yells.

Yeah I'd have to agree with the everything else remaining stock it would be a sound change vs performance gain or loss. BTW, my compleate catback system only cost me $156 parts and labor. If your willing to drive to modesto, you can use the same shop I did. Quietmaster's in ceres. Their labor charge was only $92. I used them to cut out my G35's premuffler and replace it with a magnaflow glasspack also.

Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

It will make a nice change in the exhaust tone. Performance wise it would be best to get 2.25" but that cost money. I don't have any.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
