How much HP are you aiming for?

With the mods and whatnot that you have planned for your 3g, what are your goal numbers? Give your numbers and if you are going N/A or forced induction.

I'm hoping for a goal 180-200HP from a high compression N/A A20 before nitrous if I decide to squeeze the juice.

Re: How much HP are you aiming for?

Well I have not really deceided what Set up I want ( N/A or FI ). Most likely it will be N/A. With The plans I have which are:
    1) Skunk 2 Intake Manifold.
    2) Skunk2, Toda, or Crower head kit.
    3) Toda or JE Pistons
    4) DC Exhaust
    5) Toda, Skunk2 or AEM Cam sprockets. ( depends on the Head Kit )
    6) PP my B18c1 Head or get a B16
    7) Ignition will stay stock. ( Honda Ignitions Are Good )
    8) Upgrade Fuel Delivery ( Fuel Pump, Injectors, Rails )
    9) And Money..

With all of this I am looking push 200whp after DYNO Tunning and that's If I am lucky.

NOTE: This is my Daily Driver. Not a Track Car only. So 500hp is not realistic!

That is doable. We have listed some of the steps needed to reach that. https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22091
For me something like a B18C boosted and blown pushing 500hp. Possible but really expensive. Right now it would take me 3 summers of working my ass to save up enough. So far in a 2 weeks I have been paid $2500. If I kept it up my dream will come true.

Matt you should easy reach 200 whp with your B18C1. Too bad Wicked live on the other side of the country. That would be a sweet ass race.

After my FI upgrade and some odds and ends, I am hoping for around 125HP. The car is being used as a school daily driver for my wife. N/A of course, no doubt about that.

Im gonna go NA with my B20a. This will also be a daily driver so no crazy high comp or wild cams. I dont know exactly how much power I want, I just want to go in the low 14's so im guessing like 180 at the wheels.

I'm aiming for a swap and 200 hp.. but realistically, I'm guessing 100, where i'm probably sitting now with the wear on the engine..

I guess I'll have to deside when the A20 desides to quit if I'm going to get a new car, or swap it.

I don't know which swap I am going to do yet, I want a B18, but the funds will be hard to come up with. If not it will be a b16. And with either engine, I want to add a Jackson Racing supercharger if it will fit. And hoping to see around 200-220whp... of course there will be other mods... just not sure of all of them yet.

At least 130 HP, more than my stock 98 HP! I'll do this by adding a cold air intake and changing the carb to EFI. Maybe fuel rails or NOS. Maybe an engine swap but not likely.

I may only get 13-18 MPG, but try and follow me in the mud and you'll get stuck.

Open loop had an a20 with 140 whp just bolt on's stock pistons abd I believe it was an 86 fuely stock intake manifold. I believe with 11:1 pistons different manifold what they have and some other stuff I may be able to reach 160 whp.

My 128WHP was my response to the 250WHP turbo set up.. Reaching 250whp seems a lil to much, especially if you wanted to be streetable. The fastest 3g I have seen was Jonny-O's 11 sec hatch and it was a track car only.

other mods include cutting out the floor so i can go flinstone style.........:super:

matt 250 is a GOAL... once i actually get closer i may realize that 250 is a breeze, and i will shoot for a cool 325, or i may relize that 185whp is more realistic.. but i will let you know when i get there lol!
