I don't see 200WHP being a pipe dream on a N/A a20 engine anymore after reading all the stuff Sean has come up with (by the way...Sean, your a god). I mean, a head done by him, the Connecting Rods, the pistons, a colt cam, CAI, dc header, mandrel bent exhaust, etc, etc, etc......... totally plausible for a fuel injected system...even for a Carbed model(provided you swap a better carb in). And all this for what i can see being a lot cheaper than a engine swap.
I am game....i am getting the DCOE carbs, and stuff from 2old honda, and combine that with the other parts i plan on getting i figure i will be investing about $5000 Canadian into mainly engine and suspension..add the cost of the car, $1000, and a few other bitz (say $3000 on jazzing it up) that means for $9000 i got a car that is slick and fast.....way better that 10k on a new civic or what not....and it will be totally custom to my wants and needs....yeah its going to take a year or so to accomplish but hey...no problem, i am only a 15min walk from work and my bro can drive me when i gotta grocery shop, and my other friends can give me a lift to the movies and shit when we go out :super:
Well most of what Sean has done with the head work is stuff that has allready been around. He pretty much made it easier for everyone to get ahold of. With a built head and a B-series intake you should be able to reach 200hp all motor. But this still cost money. Probably around $3K with this set up and all the basics and little things. All that I want to do with my car for now is do the basic stuff, I,H,E, cam, CAI, ingition, stuff like that. Pretty much I'am done with the engine until I have the money to do a C1 swap, but if Sean is able to find away to get the A20 hitting 11's and street legal, then I will forget about the C1.Originally posted by Brettmans5
