    Exclamation Rear disc brake conversion

    I need to find out how to get rear disc brakes on my Base model 3rd gen accord. Somebody help me please. i need to extra stopping power with my lead foot Thanks for any help

    well, first you can always upgrade your front brakes. your rear brakes don't do much when you braking.
    LXI and SEI models had bigger front brakes. SEI had rear disk brakes.

    anyway, get yourself LXI front calipers, new proportion valve, new master sylinder, slotter/crossed drilled rotors, nice pads and you should be set to go.

    a 93 z34 that's getting parted out, an 86 accord lx that now lives in a j/y, and a 90 camry le that the state no longer allows me to drive. soon to be replaced with an aprilia rs50 or a derbi gpr.

    It is on the edge, but next time it should go it to suspension.
    Also there is someting about the 89 Acura Legend. No one has tried it but it is suppose to be real close.

    how hard is it to change out the master cylinder?

    Pretty simple to do the master cylinder, I've done it a few times. Only thing is that bleeding the brakes after is a pain in the ass...
