I was just wondering if it is worth it to go with headers along with your performance muffler. How much more power will you get out of some dc sports headers along with the 2.25 piping to some sort of performance muffler as apposed to 2.25 piping no performance headers to a muffler???

get a pacesetter header.. a black one... then send it to JET HOT to get it coated.. in the meantime, call JC Whitney, get a stainless 2.25 inch flex pipe as well as a 2.25 inch DYNOMAX turbo muffler... then go on www.ebay.com and find the guy with CARSOUND cat's and get a universal 2.25 inch high flow cat

when all your parts are delivered, install the header and hook it to th stock exhaust, then go to your local muffler shop that you have already called for a quote and selected as the best price for a 2.25 inch cat back pipe installed with a muffler and a new cat.. should cost around 120 bucks installed...

140 for the header at JCW.com
30 for the flex pipe at JCW.com
40 for the muffler at JCW.com
35 for the hi flow cat at www.ebay.com
150 bucks for the Jet Hot (i think)
150 for the pipe and install of the muffler...

so about 550 bucks and you will have an exhaust system that will look good and sound good for a long ass time... it will also give you MAJOR gains over the stock PEA SHOOTER exhaust
