Good deal or not?

I found a guy that is selling me a cam out of a 89 accord LX just like mine for 50$ for shipping and everything. i plan on sending that one off to get the regrind done. then i wont have to pull mine and wait on it to get shipped there and back. and ill have the stock one and the regrinded one. you guys think thats a good deal or what?

they will send you a cam, and then you send back your old one..so you dont have to buy an extra cam... its far better than COLT's system

Yea shop arund for the cam but go with coltcams they have the best design numbers in my oppinion esp on the triflow.

how do you know? you called delta and got a spec sheet and examined the two?

delta is far cheaper, they have a real fast return time and they have likr 5 grinds for Accords from mild to wild... i spent 20 minutes on the phone with delta and in the end, im gonna order a 282 and a 272 grind.. im gonna see what the difference is with a G Tech meter

Just based on their lift and durration numbers and I have sceen around the bord and such. Mostly I have sceen nothing that compairs to a mild triflow altho I would like to give a more wild triflow a try. heck if any one wants to give me a 272 to try I will be more than happy to compair it to a mild trilow.

hey thundertank.. when you install it, find a dyno.. do a few dyno runs and let us know the HP your pushing... i have the exact same setup as you, but with freeer flowing exhaust

yeah for sure. i just got to start looking around for a shop that has a dyno theyll let me use or rent or whatever. i deffinantly need to. im curious as to see what im at. i know im over stock now without the cam. it will probably be in next weekend. i dont think ill get it till monday.:smokin:
