    Beyond Audio???

i know they make some SWEET SUBS... X ONE and INHUMAN...but i have the chance to score some M power subs... good price too...
    http://www.perfect-tones.com/amp12.html
im gonna get 2 12's.. if you think they are all right...

    what would be louder?
2 12's with 210 watts RMS to each
    (the beyond audio's)
    or

1 18 with 420 watts rms to it??
    MA AUDIO XE series DVC
they are both the same price...

what do i get?? and nothing will be bought for like at least 2 weeks unless someone buys all my audio stuff...

well you see... 1 18 is less then the cost of 2 12's for me... so im gonna go with either a single 18 or 2 15's.. im still not shur of what amp im using... i could get 2 15's for the cost of a single 18...

if i can find a 1 ohm amp for 150 USD then ill take that... and 2 15's, if not, its single 18 inch baby!

what about Twin 15 inch MA Audio XE's with a Legacy 2000 watt 2 channel feeding them... they will need an 8 cubic foot box... lol... can i even fit that in a hatch???

    Travis

EDIT: I sure can fit 8 cubes in my hatch.. with 3/4 inch MDF, that thing will weigh at least 75 lbs...

Sorry for not getting back to you on the PM, Travis, I've been busy lately...

Anyway, Beyond Audio will OWN MA audio... they just make much higher quality products. In your situation, I'd go with the two Beyond Audio subs and the same sized box, and just tune it in the 40's with a shitload of port area.

I don't think you would have been happy with the MA 18" sub... 18's are pretty much made only for rap/competition (unless you look at some pro audio 18's).

The dual MA 15's should be quite loud, as long as you make the box right. Ummm... fyi, an 8 cube box would probably weigh around 150 lbs made out of 3/4" MDF. 1 4X8 sheet of that stuff weighs around 105 lbs, and you're going to need nearly two sheets to make a box that big.

Lanzar Vibe's are decent amps, they're supposed to put out rated power, so I think you'll be happy with it... however, they aren't the highest quality and have been known to occasionally fail, though there are many more people happy with them than dissatisfied with them.

i think im goin with the MA Audio 12's lol... and the same amp... i can get 2 12 inch MA's for like 115 canadian NEW... and the amp will run me 225 canadian... so thats like not much at all...

i hope its gonna be loud... i want the bass that can be heard from 100 feet away.... and like shake your insides from 20 feet... you know.. the ground pounding shit...

Dude, why would you ever want to be heard outside of your own vehicle? Are you still in the "hey look at me!" bass phase? I just think that's really stupid, because you're just broadcasting to everyone "hey, I have a nice system, come and steal it"

But to each his own, I suppose...

That set-up definitely sounds like it will have some potential.

87dxhatch is right about lanzar, one that i know for sure thatll perform OVER rated power is the 1200d. That is perhaps the only product id ever buy from lanzar, it actually works, and works very very well. BTW, ive had arrest-me bass for the last 2.5 years (at least) everybody knows my car (even people i dont know) and generally know where i live, and my shit has never gotten ripped off. My dads car has had 2 radios stolen from it right in our driveway, but my car has never been touched, and i leave the seat down (you can see my box) and my faceplate on too. Yes Beyond Audio will OWN MA... Hands down (even though they both make good shit

the tables have turned.. i want to keep my JL, keep the Kenwood, and then sell just the jensens and the jensen amp.. then im gonna pick up a 1200 watt VIBE amp that runs like 250 watts RMS at 4 ohms and like 375 rms at 2 ohms... then ill run these two subs for about a year... maybe less.. then when i get some real cash, ill just get some DVC 12's that are really nice and then run those at 375 watts RMS off the same amp.. unless i have major cash and ill get a real amp and subs
