    Making Headers

Guys I wanna make headers for my car, cuz I'm to cheap to buy them. I figure I could weld some pre-bent exhaust pipes to to the stock flange. The collector might be tricky. Am I missing something? Cuz I find it suprising that few people do this. Everyone says that headers are the best bang for the buck, and they look easy to make. Please tell me if this could work, or if I'm being stupid, cuz I'm a cheap redneck.

sure it could work if you have the tools, time, and know-how. But I think it would be easier to just buy a pacesetter. They are only like $150 new and cheaper used.

Unless you are building your own turbo manifold I would just buy some.

Ya, I'm a cheap redneck. I should post some pics of my car......

I could go fork 150 bucks for some pacesetters, but, nahhhhhhh. I'll just build 'em. It'll be cheaper, and it'll be fun. I gotta do some research first tho. I'll be studying A20A1's thread really carefully. Thanx for posting all that stuff A20A1.
