    CRX Project

i know its not an accord, but i thought i would share.

    http://www.motorsportrevolutions.com/hosting/

i'm putting a 96 civic front end on my crx.

as you can see in the pics i've gotten the WHOLE front end off. and i'm in the process of making custom hood brackets.

just thought i'd share, and if interested i'll post updates.

I may only get 13-18 MPG, but try and follow me in the mud and you'll get stuck.

Hey how hard is that to do? I'm sure it doesn't all just bolt on does it? Or do they make a kit for it? Good luck man, and keep postin pics. Oh yah, that Civic hood looks HUGE on the rex lol. What color are you gonna paint it in the end?

    ok, update:

as some of you have seen the hood is on, but i still gotta do some adjusting and cutting to get it to go down all the way.

and no, i didnt buy a kit, i'm doin the work myself. its not really anywhere close to bolt on, so its a challenge.

i did get rid of my accord and the b20a, so i think i should change my screen name.

i've had my crx since 4/20/03

i dont really try hiding it, but i got the paint to paint it, but i'm just gonna wait right now, and just respray the whole car when the front end is done

    looks good! looks pretty daunting.

I'd like to see pics of the fenders on and the hood down. does the hood lines and fender flow pretty good? LIke too narrow at one point or wide?

i got the hood to go down as far as it is able to go. so this weekend is gonna be major, the fenders are gonna get molded, the core support is going on, and everything is going to get lined up.
    fun fun

holy shit. That's a face-lift if I ever saw one. Good job so far on this project pimp.

Was there a lot of modifications needed to the civic hood, grill, bumper, headlights, etc. in order to make it fit, and get a good mounting on it all?

good to see the crutches gone. looks good surprizing the hell outta me. I figured with the roundness of the newer car against the blockyness of your crx I thounght it would look outta place. Looks real good. congrats. And yes his name is mike at Honda
