    ordered my konis

well I placed my order yesterday. They said they still had the full kits instock so i guess i made it afterall.:super:

So I am using them with sprint springs and my old post says I can probably use the stock rates but heres a new question.

Would it be beneficial to get the 1in chopped of the struts as I am using a spring with 2.5in drop? Does anyone remember about how much it was to have koni add an external adjusting valve?

How should I setup the struts when installing them? Carot said something along the lines of 1/2 turn or something? Can someone please help me out with this? Thanks

So this will finish yet another project on my way to 3gee superiority.

If it were "my" car I'd shorten the front bodies at least if dropping past 2"

I ran a search and here is the fee to add external adjustment on them $25 per sturt. The fee to shorten them is $65 per sturt. The fee to revalve them is $100. But the real kick butt thing I recall Gordon at Koni tell me is converting them to DOUBLE external adjustment, being able to adjust not only the standard rebound adjustment, but compression also. But I'd think the double external adjustment thing would mean the $100 revalving fee and a price higher than the standard $25 fee for external adjustment.

On where to set the struts on the rebond control, I'd set them for maximum control, full stiff on rebound.
H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads
Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

    Now I d

cool, thanks agian Jim. I knew I could count on a reply from the god O' suspension.

Its kinda off topic but I have a 90 thunderbird SC and was wondering if you knew of a way other than cutting the springs to get more than the drop from aftermarket springs. Even with the drop springs it still has more than an inch of fenderwell gap. Id like this to be at a minimal. Ive rode in thunderbirds with the lowered and cut springs with the tokico illimuna struts and its actuall a great ride and I mean that from a driving standpoint. Its not super soft or hard and for a 4000lb car it drives well like that. If not its no problem just figured Id ask. Mike
