If your going to drop it lower than 1.5" you will need to invest in either a front camber kit or check out the HOW TO section of the board and look up the 84-87 prelude arm conversion that works as a cheaper front camber correction system.
I'll tell ya right now, I fear that you've gotten yourself some really REALLY stiff coilovers that your likely to not be happy with because of that. Did you win the bid or can you cancel? They may be cheap, but if the only way to tame them is to get custom revalved sturts for $630, thier not so cheap any more. And even if you do that and spend the money, you'll still have a really stiff ride, like 200% stiffer. If you want to stick with your purchse try and call the company and find out how stiff the coilovers are. Hopefully they don't have spring rates higher than 350lbs, then you can get away with Koni struts. Stay away from any other strut as you wasting your money. Don't even think about staying with the stock struts, your car will ride and drive horribly. Now if you don't care how it rides and drives, that's one thing, but you do know better now, just depends on what you want.

Thanks man, im so sorry i didnt see that on the search, and no i have not bought any thing im still researching.
Well you don't have to be that sorryIt's just that I spent a awfull lot of time creating all the FAQ threads marked as important and people don't use them. You may be ok on your coilovers, call the company and hopefully they can give you specs and hopefully aren't stiffer than 350lbs front and 250lbs rear. But in my experience, their likely like I fear. 450lbs front 350lbs rear.

so i assume when you are talking about bidding your referring to the coil overs that are always listed on ebay for 50 bucks or so. considering you said cancel your bid i imagine those coil overs suck....what about the 80 dollar springs, or 150 dollar ones? just asking because i am kinda curious about teh quality of those ones.
jim,
check out my post on requirements to become a member, in the general forum I think thats a good idea, if we can figure out how to get it to work.
i have read the FAQ and info about the different springs, and most of the other FAQ's there and they are great....but in the case of the springs most of it is just numbers, in the case of springs some people may have personal experience with specific brands of springs that are more informative that just straight number( and yes you could search but you could spend many many hours search to find the info your looking for and for some of us we just don't have time..... i mean i am at work and i should really be working).
Some times the only way to find a answer is to post and hope someone can give you an answer.....without offending long time members or people who just annoy easily.
I posted because obviously the coil-overs on ebay suck (according to most everyone) but the 80 buck ones or the 150 buck ones maybe pretty good.... and for a great price. yeah i can read the specs on the FAQs( and i did...course the 80 buck ones aren't listed..... i think.) but real world experiences with them, and weather they are a good deal is what i am after..... so i post...and pray i get an answer and not laughed at and looked at funny![]()
