go to sears and get a broken stud remover, they are used to remove broken bolts. then drill the appropriate sized hole in the head of the locking stud and then use the bolt remover to take it off. that's your best bet.
Ive always got a pair of the 90 degree vise grips. Have a friend or 2 help you get then on with the most bite possible as hard as possible and hit it with a hammer as the torque produced from such a short wrench isnt enough to release the torque of the nut.
Sounds like you found some rims you like HUH?
heh .. howd you know ? .. they are 17" koniz .. look fuckin SICK .. gunmetal .. tah match my car .. but got the nuts locked on em .. but i dont think id be able to use my broken bolt-taker outer majig-e .. since it takes time .. but ill look around "store" for some "affordable" rimes .. =POriginally posted by mykwikcoupe

If they are a different brand try to get ahold of the company directly, or go to a local spped shop that sells the luga and see if you can just borrow the key if they have an open one, but more then likely you'll have to buy the whole lug set again, and if it's the same lugs the key should be the same as what you had before.
Keys vary with brand, not with each key. I have like 5 keys, two are for the lugs I have on my rims now and the other three are from my other locking lugs.
If you could, try to do a drawing of how the lugs look, and I'll see if i have a key that will fit if so, I could send it to you with a deposit from you and once its off, send it back and I'll send you back the deposit, and once its off, go and buy a new set of lugs.

to get the key pattern, pull out that 'ol pencil (graphite) and paper trick. Get a rubbing of the lug key pattern and bring it to the speed shop and see if you can get a match.

Only thing is that the locks I had were the kind that the key grips the outside of the lugnut, not the inside like my new ones, I dunno how i'd get those off, you can probably just heat them and break them
