Tokico springs are 80 percent off. Just found this tonight. They are overstocked so they are trying to get rid of them here is the link.

Oh heck no, tokico's can't even handle the softest 3g lowering spring with rates of front 265lbs rear 165lbs those tokico springs are of course stiffer than that, front 350lbs rear190lbs

If it's a lowering spring or coilover,...... that means it's stiffer than stock, translation, not a match for tokico H.P's.

Even tokico's own tech's will tell you not to run their H.P. struts with springs that stiff. Even though corporate tokico markets H.P. struts with their own line of springs as a package, that is a prime example of marketing idiots at work vs engineers that would know better and never recommend such a combo.

For a 1" drop i would recommend dont worry about it. If u wanna lower ur car, go for atleast 1.5" for best handling. But 1" is just not worth your money bro.

Besides, Tokikos just suck ass. I wish Koni's did not discontinue our shocks.

Take and read my earlier reply to this thread. When I mention that the tokico sturts are to weak to use in the first sentance, well stock struts are about 10% weaker still, so the answer would be no.

Certainly running lowering springs would be more forgiving than running coilovers. But as I said in the earlier post, even the softest lowering springs you can get for the 3g are 2 much for even the tokico sturts to handle. But if you HAD to run stock struts, the softest one's would be the way to go, doesn't mean it would ride and drive right, just means it would give you the LEAST misery. The softest lowering springs are the H&R/Neuspeed 1.5" drop springs.
