    stock HP

i know LXs and DXs are listed as having 98 HP. but how much do you think a pure stock one really has. i mean with dirty air/fuel filters, without tune-up, old plugs and wires, old distibutor cap etc....

because as i do little stuff to it, i can feel it getting faster, but i see people who have major mods like intakes, cat back systems, headers, mufflers and the like and aren't even getting 130 HP. so how much HP do you think a stock accord has now. and how much do you think ill gain with little stuff, like adjusting the timing belt, performance plugs and wires, dist. cap, accel coil, new filters, muffler etc.

    well,
with everything dirty(not tuned up for a while, dirty filtes) i would say you will be missing like 10 horses.
so if the stock was making 98 at the flywheel or with average 15% lost around 83 at the wheels. so at your case it is like 74 at the wheels.
