    88 Lude S Seats in my 86 Accord S

Yeah finally, i've swap...... not my engine but my seats :super:

The 88 Lude S seats are just perfect. If someone ask me to choose between Sparco or my 88lude seats, i definitly choose the Lude ones!

The lateral support are adjustable and totally insane!

    Here are the pics!

There is the little mods to fit 100% perfect the seats

Those are the same seats I got!!!!!!!!!! Mine are in mint condition. Hey how did you get them to fit? Do I need to use the old sliders ? Or start drilling holes to make them fit?

it's simple if you have someone who can weld the inside slider., not the complete slide, just a small part. If you do it correctly, it's bolt on on the original bolt hole without any 2x4 like you DXhatchback

For the slider belt side you have to cut the part who are bolting the back seat

See, in red are the original accord slider with the part cuted out. You will need to remove the kind of metal spacer of the bolt too because the lude part, in blue, are soldered behind the original accord slider. The lude part will do a spacer, so if you don't want to get a inegal seat, you'll need to do this. The part in blue circle come from the original lude rail. You'll need to cut it at the bottom of the real to get the bigger part possible to weld it hard... if you don't want to get a cheap job who will broke when you'll hit something one day. So, weld the lude part behind the accord slider and you'll get this pics as result.

The blue arrow show you where is the bolt who won't fit directly in the seat. You'll have to drill another hole in the seat just beside the original one to be able to fix the accord rail, only the part with 3 bolt, not all the slider.

so, after doing all this, you can put the seat in the car and it will fit directly in the original bolt hole.

For the plastic cover in the blue circle, you'll be able to put it back but you'll need a longer screw.

if you have any question, you're welcome.

I'll try to get better pics of the original slider without any mods and the slider after, so you'll be able get a better look to the job.

Alright so all I need to do is do some cutting and use the inner sliders from the stock seats and then solder the brakets together? Or do I need to weld them? You told me soldering last night on msn and now its welding so I'm not sure what I need to do. Thanks.

i don't know which exact word to use between solder and weld. But you can be sure that you need the stronger possible. So, check which one is the stronger and you'll get your answer.

    sorry for my poor english

Oh it's perfectly fine. I would have to say weld b/c it is stronger. I can't want to put mine in. I'm buying my tool box tonight and it has a side cabinet with a bench vise on it so then I can work with stuff on it. I don't have a welder but I'm sure a student at the vo-tech can help me.
