    Brake Dust

Has anyone tried the brake pads that are suppose to create less brake dust?

supposedly ceramic pads don't have metals in them so they don't stick to your rims. Honda pads are supposedly ceramic or just get ceramic pads

I tried the new Raybestos Quiet stop pads that are suppose to create less dust and they seemed to work well for me

I had the EBC green stuff pads. Their first advertised them as dust free pads with something like 70% less dust. Now I think the advertising says 30% less dust. I'll say if your not hard on your brakes, they work as advertised. But, I wasn't. While I wasn't seeing as much dust as before, it was their and I was scrubbing the rims while washing the car just the same. Their red stuff pad's do make less dust since their a harder compound then the green stuff line. Performance wise the green stuff pads were awesome. I used them in combo with slotted dimpled brembo's, a combo that's way better than stock brakes.
