Smog results

The hatch passed smog with our mild 256/270 cam in the car. Heres the results.

2500rpm test

max allowable emmisions: HC=150, CO(%)=1.2
Average for passing cars: HC=31, CO(%)=.20
THE HATCH: HC=7, CO(%)=.24, CO2(%)=14.0, O2(%)=.7, RPM=2323

Idle test

Max allowable emmisions: HC=120, CO(%)=1.00
Average for passing cars: HC=37, CO(%)=.10
THE HATCH: HC=8, CO(%)=0, CO2(%)=14.6, o2(%)=1.4, RPM=940

So the cam can pass with correct emissions equipment and tuning. ITS SWAP TIME

Damn! Where do you live where the minimums are so low?? Here in Nevada (which I THOUGHT copied California) our HC limit is 220 ppm, at both idle and 2500 RPM test.
