Dc Sports Exhaust!! For 86-89 Accord!!

here's the deal.. talked to DC sports and i can get the exhaust done. they were bitching about it.. but my friend talked them into it. basically they have the diagram and platform still there. they jus dont market it. so now they're willing to sell to my friend.

SO EVERYONE IS ASKING HOW MUCH!?!?

    $560 shipped!

only problem is.. it takes about 2 weeks to make it. those who want it.. please leave a post u want it and ill collect names. again ill be taking orders for a week. so u all have a week to decide whether u want one or not. i myself will be getting one also.

*note* this is not the dual canister so please do not ask me for a dual canister becuz ive already asked and they flat out said NO! sorry i do not have a pic of the exhaust on the car, so please do not ask for pics. otherwise, go to DC sports web page. thanks

why are you going to spend $560 for DC sports exhaust?
you can get Dc sports universal muffler and take it to the shop.
they should make custom made exhaust for you for alot cheaper.

but this thing is.. STAINLESS STEEL and MANDREL BENT. being madrel bent means better flow for ur muffler and that means smoother sound. this may be a one time deal for sure becuz i dont know if i can get them to continue distributing it.

I tried and tried to talk them into it before and flat out said no and even with 10 people they said it was not worth their time to produce so few of them. If you can PM me when you know for sure if they will do it i would appreciate it cause its a nice system and i may take one if they are serious.

Well Jon, I know I want one, only problem is my pocket is currently 100% empty.

Only other question is, are these systems for Coupes, Hatchs, or Sedans? If I'm not mistaken, all 3 have different exhausts.

I don't think they're different...the pacesetter catback is a one-size-fits-all for a three body styles (at least I think so) which would leave me to believe there is no difference.

Damn i thought it was gonna be 2.5 which is what i would like to use for my setup. If they can do 2.5 then i would be down for sure but i dont think 2.25 is gonna do it for the turbo application. But if they can do the 2.5 let me know. Sorry for not asking earlier in the PM...

    You are missing the point....

This is a DC Sport exhaust that is MADE for our car. It comes in Stainless Steel and will not rust. Everything has smooth bends and is not like that crinkled shit you get at midas or whatever cheap exhaust places. That is why it is almost $600

    It wont fit the hatch.

The hatch is 3" shorter than the coupes and sedans when measured from the rear wheel to the muffler hooks.

if someone with a hatch gets it they will have to take it to a shop and have them cut and weld to make it fit.

As far as how it looks, I beleive it was an oval can muffler with a single 3" tip cut at a slant.

If I had the money I would defanitly get one even if I had to mod it a bit to fit.

Good job wickedaccord on getting this thing happening.

I tried telling dc sports that after they started listing the exhausts in the catalogs, but by that time they had already discontinued it and had no interest in what I was trying to explain to them.(how he hatch was shorter than the sedans coupes)

    Still good work:super:
