    Talking exhaustOP

    I wanted to know if i could take the resonators or punch a hole through my catilait converter to make it sound louder with my new exhaust tip that i am going to get welded on.

    Yeah you can knock that stuff out of the cat. Wear gloves and maybe a respirator and safety glasses. That's some icky crap in there. It will make it louder. If you want it loud get a straight pipe like I did.

    If it's a resonated tip you might just change the note of the exhaust... I fiddled around with a few tips back in the day, it never really got louder... just buzzed more.

    the exhaust i am getting is from bosal and it gives it a nice low tone, but as far as the glass packs are concerned I am not familiar, Please explain. I was thinking of getting all new piping from my flex jacket back to my bomb muffler where it will be welded .

    if u are gutting cat for sound like travis said, you are a ricer. and just getting a tip is not exhaust.

    hehe i thought exhaust was meant to be fixed for performance.

    maybe u should just go out and buy a real exhaust instead of wasting money on a cheesy tip

    thats true if he has a free flowing muffler that makes noise... but stock exhaust systems are quiet, so there wouldnt be a note to change...
