    New exhaust

    hey guys i just ordered an apexi N1 exhaust today im also puttin in a straight pipe for more air flow i cant wait to get it installed:super:

    Which type of N1?
    I believe it's the 60mm application or the 80mm(turbo) one?

    i was thinkin of gettin the 80mm one but i decided that since my car isnt turbo yet then i will just get the 60mm one so i should be getting it sometime next week i cant wait

    make shur you get a full cat back made.. 2.25 inch.. or you will not see much imporvement... if you need a cat, get a hi flo CAR SOUND one from ebay

    u just gonna lose lots of power if u do 3" piping.

    3" is way too big... you'll barely be moving untill you get up to 3,600 rpm... and you wont be making as much power after that.

    If you have a turbo then 3" would be good but untill that happens 2.25" is the best.
    I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.

    the common mistake with people who dont know much about cars will assume that bigger is better when it comes to exhaust.

    Its a simple mistake that the vast majority (or all of us) have made at one point or another. Give the guy a break.

    i didn't even think 3 inch would fit under our cars. I mean mabye at stock height but not if it was really low. but then again I have never tried.

    But, if it isnt mandrel bent.. then wouldnt you want 2.5"??? Just because it is so restricted through the bends.?!
